Hey Girls,

I am officially Autumn ready, all thanks to Admire her attire and their autumnal colour scheme. They gifted me with the Ruby Frill Bodysuit in Rust and the Valentina Cut Out Lace Up Sandals in Tan. These are trending colours for AW/16 as they feature hues from the terrain palette of earth tones. I decided to create two looks which are both autumn inspired to show how versatile but also to show how different a look can be with minor changes.

Look 1: Here I have teamed the Bodysuit and Sandals with a similar coloured midi skirt and a black trench coat to help break up the colour. Fashion's focus this autumn is all about the skirt and the common theme is a longer line of knee length and ankle grazing numbers that best capture a woman's femininity. I opted for the midi skirt as I felt the colouring would work really well and also blend well with the colour scheme. I also went for a little Kim K styling with regards to the length of the midi skirt as she is all about layering up and showing off your body silhouette. Why expose everything when a flash of ankle can be so alluring...

Look 2: In comparison to the last look, I have taken away the midi skirt and added a pair of denim jeans with knee rips. Distressed denim has never really gone out of fashion and ripped jeans are the easiest way to achieve the look. Ripped jeans almost inject an element of street style edge into your casual day wear. I feel the jeans compliment the outfit and make the look a lot more modern and also quite casual in comparison to the midi skirt. I decided to roll the jeans up as I felt the strappy detailing of the shoes needed to be visible.
