Poppin' in Poplin

Who's ever heard of poplin?  No? Well neither had I until I came across Zara's new poplin range. Upon googling poplin I discovered it was the type of fabric used to create the clothing (how stupid did I feel). Poplin is a plain-woven fabric, typically a very lightweight cotton, with a corded surface. Or in my words - similar to shirt fabric.

So lets get onto the Poplin range at Zara.... it consists of whites, pastel blues and blush pinks ranging from smock style items to off shoulder but all very simplistic and delicate looking. Below I'm wearing the Poplin Jumpsuit Dress which has just recently gone on sale from £29.99 down to £15.99. All the poplin range are similarly priced and very reasonable at that. Look how stunning this little number is....

Its called a jumpsuit dress, but really it's more of a playsuit. It has shorts attached to the smock dress but are completely hidden - so you feel super comfortable floating about in this mini smock dress. I love the defined V neck, it also has a cut out back - sorry I didn't manage to get any pictures of this, however all images are still on the Zara website! Click Here to be redirected. It is currently sold out online, however the rest of the poplin range is still available, and who knows? My little smock number could still be in stores on sale!
