The Rookery SW16

              - that highlighter though! Mac Soft and Gentle.

Hey... Just a quick post. If your lucky enough to live on the south side of the river, you should definitely pop down to Streatham common park to the Rookery, where alleyways of brickwork and arches covered in roses and vines all surrounding a magnificent fountain in the centre. There are numerous benches dotted about, the hedges are high so there is privacy around every corner. It is such a romantic setting and so charming with the flowers and water features. Sadly no dogs allowed! But definitely a must see if your in the area!

The Culotte Jumpsuit

Hey Girls, I haven't got round to any location shoots this week, but I am dying to share this Jumpsuit with you!

Girls, Girls, Girls! This is a must buy! This missguided beauty is only £25 and can be purchased here. It is bright white, ribbed with a high neck/ long sleeves and culotte legged - what a perfect item for a London night out considering the cold! It is bang on trend with the culotte leg, I also love how multi functional this item is, it can be worn with anything to anywhere. I've teamed this item with heels and a clutch for a formal dress style which could be practical for dinner with my partner or to an event. You can also dress this item down - my choice would be a pair of all white Adidas superstars and a long waterfall light duster in nude or grey.

FYI- it is also a thick material so not ideally practical for a hot day!

Yellow and Pinstripes

I absolutely adore this Jumpsuit. I've never been one to brave not wearing a bra, but since reaching out and trying new styles in clothing, I have become extremely comfortable with myself. I have always expressed my way in clothes a bit like this, "YOU wear the clothes, never let the clothes wear you". Hope this little saying has helped someone out there! ;)

The Jumpsuit is from InTheStyle. They have collections from Binky Felstead (Made in Chelsea), Billie Faiers (The Only Way Is Essex) and their own range of clothes too! Most items are under £30 so definitely a bargain when using your promo codes. You get 10% off your first order. They also pop in the odd 20% code here and there!

Sweet Amore Boutique

So since starting my blog, I wanted to publish my whole wardrobe but I needed a few final finishing touches. I purchased a huge mirror, as seen in the images below to help with my Instagram so that I could coincide with my blog and its theme on there also. As I feel, after studying Journalism at degree level it is always good to have your fingers in many pies, and that's why I have so many different social media platforms.

Anyways, the main reason for this post was that I noticed that there were a lot of Instagram boutiques about, and some with some really lovely items! Here below are a few pieces from @sweetamoreboutique an account that can be found on both Instagram and Facebook. All of my images are also featured on their website in an aid to promote their clothing.

This is such a delicate little piece. I love how light and flowy the fabric is and I also love the light pastel pink floral pattern. Very SaboSkirt! Off the shoulder is very in trend right now, so if you love your shoulders, treat them to this little number.

This is my absolute favourite! It was worn by Kady McDermott in Love island, and she looked absolutely stunning in it, teaming it with caged strappy heels. This is such a great piece as it can be dressed up with heels, or dressed down in a pair or trainers. I also like the option of the plunge front where the popper can be opened or closed for however you like your plunge.

Serious neck plunge here. I love this little playsuit, its so fun and playsuit. As you can see the neck plunge is seriously fierce! I love the belt it comes with, its the same fabric as the item but can be worn wherever you want. I've tested two looks, one with the belt around the neck falling in line with the choker trend, or around the waist with a tie for a simplistic look. I love the clean white with the bright red rose pattern. Definitely a must-buy to take on holiday!

Perspex with EGO

So Girls, recently I've had a major shoe fetish and it all started with these beauty's from EGO.

Transparently cool; Perspex has become the quirky yet cool material to wear or accessorise with from clear clutches, transparent Perspex raincoats and even handbags. The takers to this material, and other clear plastic variations, include Burberry and Giorgio Armani and all of which accented their spring/summer 2014 collections with thermoplastic detail. Likewise, Fendi offers Perspex and crystal footwear, while Simone Rocha has toughened up her feminine dresses with signature Perspex-heeled brogues.

Nevertheless Perspex has made a comeback.

Moving on, I would like to welcome you to the world of shoes that is EGO. It is by far the best shoe company I've come across. They have something to offer everyone!

If your the flat casual type they have these gorgeous lace up the leg espadrilles;

or if you really like the Perspex look but don't feel like you can pull off a whole foot full, they have these lush strappy ones available in clear, black and pink!

or if your sort of in between and want something dressy but not too over the top, they have these stunning mesh boots in two styles of height

and 5 different colours! My favourites would be the nude and the orange. (as pictured above).
They have also created a variation of the mesh boot in open toe! see below;

They offer 20% off for students, They also offer 15% off your first order and they're always popping in the odd 20% code here or there. Definitely a website worth visiting.

C H L O LDN

Hey girls, I want to share with you this lush new brand I've just discovered. After receiving the most amazing pair of sunglasses that fall in line with the Perspex trend and ALSO the so dior sunglasses trend, I just had to share!

C H L O LDN is a brand owned by Chloe Nicole, a 20- something year old entrepreneur. Stocking decorative iPhone cases to my latest on trend sunnies, it really isn't something to miss.

The brand was created in December of last year starting with fashion watches then later adding iPhone cases, healing crystal necklaces and most recently on trend sunglasses.

Her store can be found on this app (which can be found in your app store) under the store name @ChloeNicole. The store is also featured on the explore page - If you use 'depop' you will know this is a major achievement for any brand and If you don't then get on it!

With over 28K followers on the app, this brand is surely on the uprise with all UK orders qualifying for free postage and packaging, her account has 100% 5 star feedback with customers ranging not just from the UK but all over Europe and the USA.

"The Kendalls" Sunglasses, Louis Vuitton White Monogram Insert Clutch, Chanel Coco Mademoiselle Eau de Parfum and EGO Official Perspex boots (see left)

Firstly, I want to just talk about the packaging, my lush sunglasses came in a gorgeous metallic purple envelope with the sunglasses wrapped in purple wrapping paper with a cute label with a little message from Chloe Nicole herself! It reads, 'Hey! Thank you for your purchase. We hope you are in L O V E with your new sunglasses! Please remember to leave us feedback. X Chlo Ldn X'  -how cute!!

Introducing "The Kendalls" Look how fab they look! Up until most recently I have fallen in love with the Perspex trend, and the best thing about Perspex is that it goes with everything! Here I have styled them wearing all white with a lot of glitz and glam going down on my sandals.  I love the simplicity and the luxe look they give. Definitely in my Top 3 of Top buys this month!

Poppin' in Poplin

Who's ever heard of poplin?  No? Well neither had I until I came across Zara's new poplin range. Upon googling poplin I discovered it was the type of fabric used to create the clothing (how stupid did I feel). Poplin is a plain-woven fabric, typically a very lightweight cotton, with a corded surface. Or in my words - similar to shirt fabric.

So lets get onto the Poplin range at Zara.... it consists of whites, pastel blues and blush pinks ranging from smock style items to off shoulder but all very simplistic and delicate looking. Below I'm wearing the Poplin Jumpsuit Dress which has just recently gone on sale from £29.99 down to £15.99. All the poplin range are similarly priced and very reasonable at that. Look how stunning this little number is....

Its called a jumpsuit dress, but really it's more of a playsuit. It has shorts attached to the smock dress but are completely hidden - so you feel super comfortable floating about in this mini smock dress. I love the defined V neck, it also has a cut out back - sorry I didn't manage to get any pictures of this, however all images are still on the Zara website! Click Here to be redirected. It is currently sold out online, however the rest of the poplin range is still available, and who knows? My little smock number could still be in stores on sale!

Lilac Vibes with Essie

Go Ginza by Essie

So I decided to have a photoshoot in the nail bar, and after flicking through about 20 + pictures, I managed to grab these three just to show off this delectable colour. This is another little wonder from Essie and I must say I adore this colour. I wanted to try something different over my usual nude shades, but also wanted something light and summery. Looks like I found my match! The shade is called Go Ginza and it is a lovely pastel lilac colour, almost white with a tint of purple hue. I absolutely love it!

At the moment, I'm keeping my nails short and slightly squared for the minimal look. See my last blog post about where I get my nails done and what they have to offer.

 Hope you like ;) x
