Glitter is ALWAYS an option - The Natasha Charles Edit

First off, Can we just appreciate the amount of EFFORT Natasha Charles has put in to creating the GLITTER FEST we are about to experience, even down to this glittered gift bag that everything first arrived in! I was honestly shocked and amazed by how much detail there was, from the glittered gift bag to the ribbon tied gift box and NC logo stickers and we STILL haven't even got to the GOLDEN GODDESS collection yet!! This was truly an amazing experience unveiling back all the glittered layers to see what FAB products were inside. 

So, just before we get started, here's a little information about the brand itself,

There is always something luxury about receiving gifts in boxes rather than any other kind of packaging, especially hand tied with a purple ribbon which instantly represents ROYALTY - presentation really is key!

The ESSENTIAL night out accessory for any glitter OBSESSED babe! It's the perfect size to hold all of your nearest and dearest bits for a GLAM night out, your lippy, your phone, make-up, keys...OR if you're the stay at home type like me, it would make an incredible make-up bag or a case for your iPad, tablet or kindle....OR perhaps your friend's birthday is coming up and you want something really personal and well presented, I mean we all saw the packaging right?!  The options are endless.

For personalisation: you can specify up to 2 initials by messaging their ASOS store before or after making your purchase :) Clutch is made to order and shipped within 5-10 working days of purchase.

The two smaller glitter bags of the collection are where all the SPARKLE is at! The medium sized GOLD glitter bag is the perfect size for a make-up bag, or a small clutch, as it big enough to fit your phone, money and keys :) The smallest sized bag, the little ROSE GOLD number, is of course perfect for coins - but what if you never have coins? It would be perfect to attach to your keys and used to hold any small everyday essentials you may use or need ( but never really had the space for before), perhaps a lipbalm? or some chewing gum? Haha! 

Both bags are made out of a glitter covered cotton - so the glitter doesn't tend to scrape off in use.

All the bags are handmade including the glitter covered diary.

It's insane to think how affordable everything is for the amount of detail and effort that has gone into these pieces - making them that extra bit special!

PERSONALLY; an absolute favourite of mine! Well, of course it kind of has to be considering it's got my initials on it, but it truly is a beautiful piece. I love how it is the perfect size for carrying what's needed and that little bit more.. ;) The glitter lettering is also perfect and is sealed so it doesn't feel harsh and won't flake either. 

ALSO; I definitely have a soft spot for a bit of velvet 🙊

MOM jeans! I have NEVER owned a pair of these, nor would I have ever gone out to buy these as I've always felt they have never sat right. These high waisted jeans though, sit just RIGHT! The distressed style gives it that edgy look and of course paired with a PLAIN pair of strappy heels. Less is definitely more! I also rolled the legs up slightly - as mom jeans with rolled up hems are killer ;)

Welovesunkissed Event #beautifullybronzed

 

Alas... a blog post!

 

Last week, I was extremely lucky to be invited to Sunkissed's Press event for their New look tan line. It was hosted at The Century Club, which I must say was crazy to find as the location is completely bordered off and private, my only guess was a Sunkissed representative standing outside with a Lei for myself.

 

So Lei received, I proceeded up the four flights of stairs....the rooftop and onto the beach :)

 

Greeted by the amazing people behind the brand Sunkissed also wearing Leis, the room was filled with sunlight and rays, as of course the weather conveniently matched this amazing occasion.

 

I was able to get a first glance of all the new look products as well as a whole range of makeup including these really cute contour and highlight sticks, and bronzers galore!

How cute is this sandpit set up. All these cute little inflatable bits and funky glasses all for our pleasure and enjoyment. Perfect for those lay pics gals! and of course a cheeky (non-alcoholic) drink to go with the beach theme.

I am obsessed with this miracle in a bottle. I don't usually go for spray tans - I much prefer the mousse, however I love the whole golden glow shimmer this really gives my skin, it sets in so lovely and I've never had a streak to date...

I haven't used a gradual tan as of yet, so this will definitely be a first for me! As I have both shades too - I can build by using the lighter one first and then add some medium/dark after a few days or so to top it up and go bronze ;)

 

I love these little cards that came with the products also, as they are great indicators as to how the product works, how long for and all the amazing awards these fab products have under their belt!

Now, these two products I have used! A few days before the event, I received a box from Sunkissed containing the purple lid product, so I was all bronzed and ready for the event. The product is their Self Tan Mousse in Dark. The pink lid product is their Rapid Tan which I have only just recently used and this is in shade Medium.

Beautifully bronzed in just 60 minutes!

I LOVE this product! It comes out like chocolate mousse and glides on with ZERO streaking! My faves are of course instant tan and I love how the colour develops so quickly.

Sunkissed Self Tan mousse in Dark £4.99

This is the product I received before the event and also in my Goody bag, it is an absolute treat! It is dark but I love how it still remains a brown golden shade rather than an orange tinge. I am obsessed with being bronzed and that's all down to Sunkissed and their amazing #beautifullybronzed range.

Now their tan wouldn't be their tan without these fabulous products alongside. The body primer is a great way to get off any dead skin around the elbows, knees and those places where you may get a build up of tan. It's so good you can use it in the shower just before your ready to get out! The DOUBLESIDED application mitt works wonders! How many times have you had one of those average one sided mitts, and covered it in so much tan you could have sworn it used to be pink? Well this amazing double sided one won't give you that worry, plus it lasts longer!
